I came across www.frpgames.com and their pricing looked very nice. Has anyone ever ordered from there? Any recomendations about a favorite online store?

thanks

If you are just buying them to paint yourself, then FRPgames is good. If you would like to buy some minis and have them professionally painted, then www.fantasyworksminis.com is the place for you. I've spent far too much money there, but the minis have always been done "most excellently". They even repaint the D&D Minis if you want.

Good site. I like to think that the minis I paint are on par with the stuff on fantasyworkminis.com, so I'm definately looking to paint them myself :)

Anyone else ever order from frpgames or another online store?

I order from FRPGames regularly. Their customer service is great and the prices are excellent.

The RPG store here at ENWorld is very good (check the links at the top of the page) and always ships my stuff relatively promptly. They have a good selection of miniatures, most unpainted.

Alternatively, www.fantization.com has an enormous selection, but navigating the site is a pain in the a$$, and ordering is a pain, as well.

www.doordice.com is pretty good, as well. Easier to order, but even harder to navigate.

Other than that, try www.reapermini.com, or the games workshop website (dunno that address right off the top of my head)

Fantization carries the beloved Confrontation line of miniatures from Rackham. They're not cheap, mostly because they're imported from France, but the detail is incredible. Fantization also carries Freebooter minis, which are exceptionally sculpted by Werner Klocke, and they also carry Vallejo paints and brushes.

The service at Fantization is top notch. I highly recommend them.

Avoid New Wave. It doesn't matter how much they discount if you never receive your minis. They rarely answer their emails or phone calls. They charge your credit card right away, and send your order when and if they feel like it. In short, they're a waste of your time and money.

I agree with you on both accounts. If you can't get Confrontation minis at your FLGS, then Fantization is the way to go. Great selection, excellent customer service.

Avoid New Wave like the plague. They're scam artists. You credit card will be charged right away, as Painfully said, and it'll be months before you see your shipment, if ever. Only constant harassment and threatening to call the DA's office (yes, this is what I had to do) will get them to ship. Friends don't let friends order from New Wave.
