All doubt was erased with his news letter today announcing the end of 3E DCC sales approaching.

He is putting the PDF's at 50% off.

So if others were wondering, its pretty clear now.

Edit - are DCC d20 products? In which case that license (effectively) terminates shortly? (i.e. nothing to do with the GSL)

Just because Goodman games is announcing the end of 3e product sales has no bearing on the October 1st start date. They're clearly trying to get as much sales out of the PDF's as they can over the next 3 months before they release their first 4e product. It's not like they announced a product to be released before then.

I am curious as to how this will affect their C&C line. I am no GSL expert, but since (I think) the C&C products make use of the OGL, they would be out the door along with the 3.5 DCC modules.

No, the C&C line is seperate from the adventure line. The only thing they can't do is release DCC modules both as C&C and 4E products. They could create a C&C module line, if they wanted.

He's clearly not using the GSL for the DCCs he's releasing at GenCon. He is either running around it, or he has a different license, and the preponderance of evidence at the moment points towards "running around it."
