Mercurius
Legend
I just spent a chunk of my Noble Knight credit on Gooey Cube's Cyclopaedia Zyathica, Zyathe: the Wy'rded World, and am rather impressed with the product - not sure if it has been discussed here, but it seems worth mentioning among high quality 3PP D&D worlds. The world of Zyathe has a very mythic feeling with touches of whimsy. It has distinct--and very colorful--art, with unique races. Not everyone's cup o tea, especially if you prefer a more dark/low/sword & sorcery vibe, but could also hit the spot for a lot of folks.
(This is not a review, mind you, more of a "head's up - check this out").
The book itself is printed on high quality, thick and glossy paper, and bound with...a couple of screws? So I suppose it has a PODish feel, but is good quality. My main complaint is that the maps, while beautiful, have nothing marked on them. Kind of weird (or wy'rd).
Anyhow, my main take-away is that it is nice to see someone do something different, while still remaining with the bounds of D&D. It isn't yet another FR or Greyhawk, but something a bit different.
There's a free Player's Primer that acts well as a preview.
