LITTLE ROCK, AR – July 27, 2006 – Troll Lord Games is proud to announce the return of Gary Gygax’s most famous thief: Gord the Rogue! Gord the Rogue, Saga of the Old City is a rousing piece of fantasy fiction written by the co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons. “We are real excited about this project. Gord was as much a fixture of the Gaming environment in the hey day as anything else,” remarked Stephen Chenault of TLG. “Bringing him back is like coming full circle. And what better way than a nice hardbound book with dust jacket!”

Written in the golden age of fantasy Gord the Rogue, Saga of the Old City is a classic tale of swash buckling adventure. Gord’s topsy turvy career is a mixed bag of ill fated fortunes, success and failure. Sweet! I just decided to delve into these "classic" novels after reading the original story in Dragon #100. The copy of Saga I got from Amazon is a bit rough around the edges so it'll be nice to have this new version.

I hope it comes with a detailed map of the City of Greyhawk . . . that is, Gary's version of Greyhawk.

I think a disappointment of the first one was that no map was included.

But it's good to hear it's getting reprinted.

A little OT, but I always feel compelled to step in a boast/brag that I had a Forum letter published in that issue.
