Got a copy of the "Ruins of the Wild" dungeon tiles this weekend

Apparently the book distributors got them out early and I was able to pick up a copy this weekend. Fortunately, one of my gaming stores I frequent is also a book store.

This one I might have to get multiples of, even if it's just for the water tiles (I didn't for any of the others). There are only 3 long stream pieces (2x8), 1 piece with a tree (2x1) and 2 90 degree curves (2x2).

There are a lot of larger pieces this time. In fact there are 4 that are 8x8 pieces, and other large pieces. The coolest, IMO, is the giant skeleton half buried in the ground.

I can see myself buying another of these, and perhaps future outdoor sets.

I'll definitely be getting 2 of these (I got 2 of the other 3 Dungeon Tiles). I figure in about 3 or 4 sets time I will have enough tiles to cover almost all situations.

P.S. airwalkrr, what's going on with the AoW PbP? You haven't replied to any of my post or e-mails.

I'm not big on multiples of the dungeon sets. I can draw a dungeon on a battlemat pretty well.

Outdoor scenes are different. They tend to either end up with a tree or two and maybe a road, or else large areas of impassable terrain. I've even been looking for the old Champions Flex-tiles to get some transparent tree and bush templates to put down. These are just great.
