Got My First Case of Giants of Legend!

For my birthday tomorrow (July 28) Djeta ordered a case of GoL for me off Popular Collections!

Tons of great minis! I'm only missing the following rares:

Stone Golem
Fire Genasi Dervish
Dire Wolf
King Snurre
Lord Soth
Rakshasa
Blue Slaad
Drider Sorcerer
Lich Necromancer
Minotaur

And from the HUGE catagory:

Huge Gold Dragon
Storm Giant
Warforged Titan

All in all, a great case. Djeta is the best! I'm really hoping to get the Rakshasa and Lich in the next batch I buy (hopefully another case before they're gone) but this one is awesome! Couldn't ask for a better B-day gift.

I've noticed a definite improvement since Harbinger. The sets keep getting better and better.

Thus, I have two questions for you all:

1. Do you think this set is way better than previous? Will they continue to get better?

and 2. (or 3 if you count the last one as two questions, which, in the strictist technical sense, they were) Does anyone know if cases of Archfiends are still available?

That's all for now. Djeta's B-day is in November, so I better start thinking how I am gonna match this in quality gifting...

Yes, and I hope so

I believe they are. My FLGS is still getting them in on a regular basis.

Hmm - I rather liked Archfiends. I think GoL is better, but it's not a big step upwards (but it's a great deal better than Harbinger was).

2. Will they continue to get better?

Yes. Probably. There are still sculpting and painting problems, but I'm fairly sure that we'll see the quality improving in upcoming sets. I'm looking forward to the Large figures in uncommon slots.

3. Does anyone know if cases of Archfiends are still available?

I'm sure they are, though I don't know where you could get them from.
