[GR PR] Bastards & Bloodlines Previews Available Now

Bastards & Bloodlines: A Guidebook to Halfbreeds, the latest volume in Green Ronin's acclaimed Races of Renown series, arrived in distributors warehouses today and should start showing up in stores this weekend. If you'd like a sneak peak at all the freaky goodness inside, a preview of the Wyrd, a half-elf/half-ogre mage, is now available at www.greenronin.com. The book contains 28 such half-races and 8 subraces, as well as 12 templates, over 30 feats, and the introduction of blood spells.

It's a good book.

One thing I'd love to see is a Human Bloodlines follow up. Certain families known for their different abilities or weapon styles. Could be distinct prestige classes, feats, spells, and other unique items. Family weapons could be heirlooms, etc... etc. .etc...

You're confusing your publishers.

Green Ronin hasn't done an Elf book yet. Your probably thinking of ours. Sorry you didn't like it. You seem to be the minority on that issue.

Remember: if your going to critisize a product, at least get the publisher or Line correct.

I think Leopold is using the OGL interlink as the product line.

Is Green Ronin doing an Elf book? I thought the OGL interlink meant that you did the elves, and they wouldn't be doing one on Elves. Dark Elves, Half-Elves, and the like are a different topic.

I belive that Green Ronin will be coming out with Bow & Blade later in the year. The agreement is that we would each hold a title for a year so as to not compete directly.

We are doing Bow & Blade, but it's specifically about Wood Elves. Look for product info on that shortly.

You guys do very nice layout, have better than average (if B&W) art, and started this series with a book that filled a gap (the Giants book). I just wish the Half-Giant hadn't been WAY over-ECL'd *and* been rendered unplayable with stat adjustments...

Looking at the Eldest Sons preview, the "Always Ready" feat strikes me as a really bad idea...
