GRAAAHH!!! [semi-rant/brief]

I second (well, third or fourth by now I think) the call for more bard PrCs. I'd particularly love to see a bardic PrC built around the idea of using bardic music to fuel cool effects a la bardic music feats.

Names? Hmmm.

Bladedancer
Arrow of <proper noun>
<proper noun>'s Spear (a trend here, you get the idea)
Fossicker (just because I love that word)
Beguiling Shadow (good name for a Swallow/Raven-type spy)

Hmmm. Speaking of basing PrCs on words you like....

How about the Defenstrator? A prestige class based on throwing people out of windows.

I bet it'll rock 'em at Gen Con!

I thought WotC was just putting the word Dread in front of everythign now. So just take a name you like that already exists and put dread in front of it.

PrC: Battlers of the Bunny

Members of the Battlers of the Bunny are always female, typically warriors (often referred to as Chicks in Chainmail). As they gain levels, these fearsome combatants gain defensive strength while simultaneously shedding clothing. In some regions of the land, the Battlers of the Bunny are restricted from using their complete set of skills. The Nude Nonpareil is often required to wear some form of clothing, especially in regions ruled by Lawful Good Theocracies. To help counteract these restrictions, special magical devices, such as the "Pasties of Protection" have been created by mages working tirelessly at the Order's guildhouse, known throughout the land as "The Mansion."

I've always thought that every religion should have at least one cleric oriented prestige class, that would take the cleric and focus it on the religion.

I did this for Sovereign Press' Holy Orders of the Stars. That book has eighteen new prestige classes, one for each of the gods (leaving out the three moon gods, who don't have clerics). It helped to call them all the XX XX of YYY, where YYY was the god's name, but I really haven't had much trouble coming up with names for PrCs.

Cheers,
Cam

It's that it's become bloody well impossible to come up with decent names when you're assigned to write more of the freakin' things!!!
Really? I'm truly surprised. Since prestige classes are pretty much designed to have a focus and role, I would have thought that the name would be the easiest thing to come up with (and often done before the mechanics).

Hmmm...
