Grasping Weapons and Weapon Proficiency

I was checking out the grasping weapon and had a few questions:

1) It mentions I can use the weapon to attack and that I can add the enhancement bonus of the weapon to the attack. Can I also add the proficiency bonus of the weapon?

2) Since it can be put on polearms, I assume that I can grab a target at my extended reach? (normally grab can not be done at your weapon's reach).

3) Can the bonus it provides be used in moving a grabbed target, or just in the grab itself?

I would say no. From a purely legalistic standpoint because it nothing says that you should override the previous statement of no bonus. More importantly grab is against Reflex, and non-armor defenses only rarely get proficiency bonuses.

I think here RAW and RAI might differ. Again nothing specifically overrides the "no weapon reach" clause, but since you are grabbing with the weapon, not your free hand, it makes sense to allow it.

3) Can the bonus it provides be used in moving a grabbed target, or just in the grab itself?

Again by RAW probably not, but I don't think it is overpowered to allow it.
