How can you list all of these and NOT mention his greatest role to
date, his epitome of evil and genre goodness, frickin' Lex Luthor
of Superman TAS and JL?!?

Best. Luthor. EVAH!!

Makes Gene Hackman look like the pussy he is.

EDIT: Visit his IMDB profile and see all the genre goodness.
Starship Troopers, Heavy Gear, Gargoyles, Mortal Kombat and
Buckaroo Banzai.

Clancy Brown as Rawhide in Buckaroo Banzai, baby. Speaking of which, Peter Weller should be on this list, if he isn't already. Robocop, Buckaroo, Naked Lunch, Screamers, etc., etc.

What about John Lithgow?

More women!

I loved Oscar-winner (Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) Louise Fletcher as Kai Winn on DS9. She just plays such a great (female dog). She's your go-to.

How about Tia Carrere? I know she's on the Relic Hunter show, and she seems to have made the rounds of genre direct-to-videos. That enough street cred?

That's all the women I can think of now.

He's not really known for being a genre guy, but Slim Pickens was the best. For those who've forgotten, he was Major Kong in Dr. Strangelove and Taggart in Blazing Saddles, and in about 10,000 westerns.

I'd like to point out that Tony Todd also played the captain of the second Big Phallic Ship that was destroyed in the movie that set up the Crusade series.

Danny Trejo was also in the Spy Kids movies.

And add Tony Shaloub (TV's Monk), for his roles in Galaxy Quest, MIB I & II, Spy Kids I & II.
