I heard great news and then awful news in a 10 second span on the radio this morning.

Scarlett Johannson is set to play Jenna Jameson in a film based on her life. The awful news, Scarlett is signing a no-nudity clause.

This is seemingly ludicrous. There's merely ten years age difference between them. Jameson is still alive and aside from holding "the most downloaded nude/nearly-nude person" title for a time, is notable for nothing. Johannson is not known for taking fluff/paycheck roles, so unless Jameson is secretly a CIA agent, I am unsure what Johannson sees in the role. It hardly seems like a non-nude bio-pic on Jameson will be greeted well by anyone, critic or public, since it is about the only thing that distinguishes Jameson in the first place.

I think you have the wrong vapid blonde in mind. Cindy Margolis is "the most downloaded woman on the internet", Jenna Jameson is a long time porn star. I could see a "no nudity" clause in a movie about Cindy Marglois, since until recently posing for Playboy she never appeared nude (although God only knows what the movie would be about). Jenna, on the other hand, has appeared completely naked (and often performing various acts that would make Eric's grandmother blush) about 95% of her time in front of the camera.

Um, what would the point be of a JJ movie without nudity> I mean, the woman most certainly has had an interesting life and should be credited for taking control of her own success, but both of those things involved *a lot* of being naked (among other things).
