My prediction was Batman from the beginning of this whole thing. I wasn't entirely off, at least. Of course, it also helps that Batman was my #1 out of the entire list. I have a soft spot for the "normal" mortal standing as a peer to the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman. In a genre where the normal guy is marginalized all too often, Batman is the sterling example of human potential.
Of course, Batman has a slew of bad writers working against him, and he seems to polarize folks opinion at times - unlike Indy, who's generally viewed in a fairly positive light and has been mangled by fewer hands.
I'm also a fan of Indiana, though. Pulpy goodness - and the sort of guy who DC could use. Every time I see the likes of Lady Shiva pulling out a sword and going "Hi-ya!" while speaking disdainfully of guns - when they're pretty much completely unarmored - I just want someone to pull out a revolver and shoot them, Indy-style.
