I am a little sad you omitted The Whitest Kids you Know from the list. Not consistently great but man, some of those episodes and skits were amazing.

There's a lot out there. I mean, keeping it to 30, and not disturbing any of the UK ones, and not getting rid of any of the historical ones (pre-90), what would you remove to put it in?

Loved the "Whose line is it anyways" that they showed on TV when I worked in Ireland in 1996.

Coming from the UK, my favourite sketch show has to be the fast show, I'm not sure it was universally popular though

I watched a few episodes of Laugh-In as a kid, but the humor went past me. Future President Nixon, who did not have a funny bone in his body, popping out to say "Sock it to me" is about the only thing I 'got', as irony. After 1974 the irony got even thicker but not so funny.
Muppet Show, however, I understood and enjoyed in original run.

Sad to see no early Stephen Colbert's Exit 57, they had some really great sketches. This was one of my favorites.
