I'm just basing my answer on D&D villains....since this is a D&D Messageboard.

VECNA, hands down.

If anyone doubts it.....go play the module Vecna Lives.

'Other' is going to totally spank the competition... ;)

If at all possible, I would actually have used my vote to vote against Sephiroth. Talk about overrated. The guy wears a black trenchcoat, carries a cool sword, has long hair and a bad attitude. Oh, yeah, and no personality. Hehe. In terms of strictly Final Fantasy villains, ol' Seph ranks extremly low on my list.

On a lighter note, how did Maul make the poll, yet Vader is nowhere to be seen? Blasphemy! :D

Actually that was a mistake I made, and didn't realize until after I posted.

I think you guys are right, maybe this list was to limmited, maybe some one could make a better list, to better represent the accuracy of oppinion, kinda don't feel like embarrasing myself with a second below par list.

Hmmmm....

It's been a while since I read the books, but I'm sure he was the hero.....reluctant anti-hero, maybe....but I have no clue how someone could mistake him for a villain.
On the other hand, I can't see how anyone could mistake him for a hero in any sense. Anti-hero at the very best.

I suspect in most DnD games if the PC's ran into someone abusing people, who said it was ok, since the people he was abusing were not real, they'd treat him as a villain.
