Definately a different alternative to the boring slow moving basilik. The fact that the paralysis is temporary also makes it a much less harsh alternative than a normal basilik.
Couple of points though:
For save DC not listed, should be DC 11 (10 + 1/2 EHD (1) + CHA Modifier (1)) (You have listed the attack as a spell like ability, therefore its ability is charisma - for a supernatural ability I think it would be wisdom and the DC 10)
You don't need to add skill focus as a feat AND give them a racial bonus on the skill, just the racial bonus is fine.
You could probably list the attack bonus for the gaze attack somewhere (+7 ranged).
Weapon Finess applies to one weapon only, if you want to apply it to more than one list it more than once (just like weapon focus) (you may only have been applying it to one, I must confess attacks is still an area I'm a little shaky on )

)Most of the Feats are going to be turned into special qualities. Makes more sense that way. They'll be listed under "Special Qualities" and again under the combat mechanics stuff with the note, "treat as the equivalent Feat." This should clear things up.
