Woe to the Enemies of Heaven!

Avatars are the mortal agents of the Heavenly Host, summoning down the wrath of Heaven on the unholy. They cast divine spells like clerics, but specialize in the summoning of celestials and can even take on angelic forms at higher levels. The Avatar's Handbook introduces this new core class to the d20 System and gives you all the rules you need to incorporate it into your campaign. Fourth in the acclaimed Master Class series, the Avatar’s Handbook includes:

· 25 new celestials, including the canny bene ishim, the inspirational ebeith-ebeil, and the courageous valorum. The avatar class can summon many of these celestials, making them instantly useable. Others make ideal mounts for righteous paladins.
· 7 additional creatures from the Upper Planes, including 3 celestial dragons and the dreaded living flamestrike.
· 5 new templates, including the reforged and the uncalled, with fully statted out sample creatures for each.
· 2 sample archangels: Mika’il and Gabriel.
· 21 new spells for avatars, clerics, paladins, sorcerers, and wizards. The Avatar’s Handbook also introduces a new type of magic: banner spells.
· Complete compatibility with Green Ronin’s Legions of Hell, Armies of the Abyss, and Book of the Righteous.

Written by Hammer & Helm author and Dragon magazine editor Jesse Decker, the Avatar’s Handbook puts the power of the Celestial Host in your hands. Do you have what it takes to bear the mantle of Heaven?

Easy there Chris. Don't need to kill them to appease bloodthirsty gamers. ;) But I will say, the living flamestrike has some serious potential. ;)

It is a gorgeous book, really like the Ryman cover---question what is the border?? Is it snakeskin or some untold secret that the other Hal would have to kill me if he told me--another outstanding job!

Far as I'm concerned, there's only ONE Hal! :)

Now I love MEG's Hal, but must point out that GR's Hal is the OG of industry Hals. That boy's been working the game industry for over a decade so give him his props!
