JULY 2003

On the distant island-continent of Naranjan, brave adventurers study the psychic arts under powerful gurus, battle treacherous yuan-ti in the depths of ancient dwarven ruins, and evade elven cannibal tribes in the tropical jungle. Third in the Mythic Vistas series from Green Ronin, Mindshadows blends the rich legends of Southeast Asia with furious martial arts action inspired by the Psionics Handbook. It includes new feats and psionic powers, and over a dozen new prestige classes. The first true psionic setting for the d20 System, Mindshadows can be dropped easily into any existing campaign. From the decadent city-states of the Spice Coast, to the treacherous capital of the Sudarshan Empire, adventure awaits-for those brave enough to traverse this exotic land.

COOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!!

::drools::

It almost makes me wish I was starting my campaign in July rather than April. Then I could use a true psionics setting rather than trying to make FR psionics-friendly.

Ah well.
They look great and definitely are on the must-buy list. :)

Yea, Psionics seems to always be shoved in the back. I am really liking these new psionic supplements. I am definately looking forward to these 2 new books!

1. Will this still have the Yuan Ti?

2. Will it be comptible with Book of the Righteous and or Freeport?

3. Will the monsters from the monster book be featured in the setting book?

4. Will it use the Mindscape psionic battle methods or acknowledge it?

1. Yes.
2. Not sure I get the thrust of your question. It's all d20, so sure.
3. You mean will info be repeated in both books? No. Some of the monsters are referenced in setting, but the stats are in Monsters of the Mind.
4. I'm not 100% certain how we're going to address this yet, but we have talked to Monte and Sue. If not in the main book, then definitely on the web.

As a fan, I would like to see Mindscapes in there. The origional psychic combat rules were rather useless to me, and I have never used them. Mindscapes are done well, and I hope to see them become the defacto version of psychic combat.
