[Green Ronin] June and July: Psionics!

Hola Chris. When I was talking about Freeport and Book of the Righteous I meant...

Will either be reference in sidebars or in the main text? Such as a "Using this with Freeport... Using this with BotR" type deal. Maybe some of the psionic PrCs could fall under lost orders from the gods in BotR. Perhaps there are some trade captains or pirates who have safe haven here and raid Freeport. That sorta stuff.

Everything else sounds great!

Color me excited. I can't wait to have this in my hands. My only complaint is that Mindshadows is not 320 pages long, harbound and $40.00 just like the Book of the Righteous.

Are you sure you can't expand it even more?

We want more! MORE!

One question, does the setting have more of an arabic feel or is it more of an indian influence (or neither)? I know the distinction is slight but I'm just curious.

An Asian-flavored campaing setting that isn't Chinese or Japanese in origin? Play up the novelty and it ought to do very well.

More indian than arabic. I'd love to release a huge book of this stuff, but as one of our authors on the project has an infant who isn't yet sleeping through the night, I'm pretty sure this is about all he's got the stamina to churn out for us. ;)

Nicole

Mindshadows
A Mythic Vistas Campaign Setting for the d20 System
Written by Kevin Brennan and James Maliszewski
Cover by Todd Lockwood
128 pages, perfect bound
MSRP: $22.95
GRR1402
JULY 2003

On the distant island-continent of Naranjan, brave adventurers study the psychic arts under powerful gurus, battle treacherous yuan-ti in the depths of ancient dwarven ruins, and evade elven cannibal tribes in the tropical jungle. Third in the Mythic Vistas series from Green Ronin, Mindshadows blends the rich legends of Southeast Asia with furious martial arts action inspired by the Psionics Handbook. It includes new feats and psionic powers, and over a dozen new prestige classes. The first true psionic setting for the d20 System, Mindshadows can be dropped easily into any existing campaign. From the decadent city-states of the Spice Coast, to the treacherous capital of the Sudarshan Empire, adventure awaits-for those brave enough to traverse this exotic land.

Um, I am already running this in my current game world. I expect compensation. ;)

Actually, that little corner of my world is a little vague, but the general details match. If the map isn't a big element, I imagine I'll just slot it in there.

Bummer. Followup book then?

Why don't you get Aaron Loeb to help him out? He seems to write like a madman. ;)

Ah, the mystical Mr. Loeb... Excellent. Can't wait to see what he's writing next!

Anyway, these two products are definitely interesting. Add the Mindscapes stuff into the mix and you've got a definite sale or two here. Psionics are cool as-is, but these types of products will make them even more cooler (to butcher a phrase) :)

Cheers!
Ian
