We've posted a PDF preview of our upcoming Master Class sourcebook, Psychic's Handbook by Steve Kenson. This preview features descriptions of several psychic skills, from Adaptation through Domination. Head on over to www.greenronin.com to check it out.

The book is printing now so it should be available in just a few weeks. And if you're a fan of d20 Modern, do note that the book includes some material on adapting it to the those rules, including a psychic advanced class and some psychic skills specifically for Modern campaigns.

Just what's the difference between psychic and psionic powers flavor wise?

I dig the Psychic Skills, i'm curious how skillpoints are gained and how easy it is to get Psychic Feats (are they only available to Psychics or also to other classes). The Psychoportation feat rules btw!

You use your regular skill points to buy psychic skills. However, you need the right feat to give you access to different skills. So the feat Pyschokinesis, for example, allows you to buy ranks in psychokinesis skills. The psychic class is obviously best suited for the system, with lots of skill points and many bonus psychic feats. However, there is a Wild Talent feat that lets any character gain access to a single psychic skill. This is a good way to introduce psychic powers into your game a little at a time, or to model unusual abilities that are hard to do with the core rules. Let's say you wanted to have a barbarian whose shaman mother passed on an ability to visit others in their dreams. You could do this by taking the Wild Talent feat and Dreamwalk psychic skill. Voila, there you have it!

Hmm... Sounds good, but...
*the sound of speculation follows*
Let's assume the Psychic Class has enough skill points to keep skill progression interesting, what stops a Psychic from multiclassing to a Rogue (who has (8+int)/level skill points) and gaining Rogue abilities while progressing the Psychic skills? Does a Psychic gain additional abilities with each level? Als, has the Wild Talent Feat some inherent limitations? A Rogue with the Wild Talent and Psychokinesis Feats is a scarry proposition...

Overall very kewl!

For the record, psychics get 6+Int mod skill points per level, so they are no slouches in that department. You may indeed freely mulitclass with rogue. However, while gaining rogue levels, you wouldn't get access to the bonus pyshic feats, so you wouldn't have as many pychic skills as a single-classed psychic. And if you spent most of your skill points buying up the psychic skills you already had, you're rogue skills would suffer. So sure you can do it, but you'd be a worse psychic and a worse rogue, which is exactly the idea of multiclassing.

Does a Psychic gain additional abilities with each level?

He gains bonus psychic feats every few levels, which can be used to open up new psychic skills. Skill points, of course, can be spent at each level.

Also, has the Wild Talent Feat some inherent limitations?

Yes, it only gives you access to one psychic skill and it'll be a cross-class skill for non-psychics.
