Mostly they are compatible though and the new devils fit in easily, I slotted them into my game without problem.The Daemons (NE fiends) are based off of feeding on the seven deadly sins and include a bit of the 2e Yugoloth blood war mercenary concept as well IIRC. The seven NE sin lords do not really fit into the Yugoloth lore of Anthraxus and Oinodaemon stuff though.Most of the Demon Lords fit in easily and they had alternate names for some D&D standards.One issue with the original was the low CR of a lot of the fiends. Some of the minor demon lords and devil nobility were fully statted out and I remember a big fat one with a face in his belly and lore about him wrecking empires single-handedly but his stats being CR 10 which was a big mismatch between the lore and the stats. Not a problem if you go with the Aspect theory of fiend manifestations, but it is there.</blockquote>
