Greetings folks, cyber time again

Visceris

First Post
Okay, I have finished the finalized (well nothing is ever finalized) rules of my Cybernetics for d20 Modern.

Just to make sure credit is due, my roomie, Damien Siech did the nanotech chapter.

Anyway here is a sample character using d20 Modern and my cybernetic rules. The character comes from a CTL 10 soceity. Basic tech level of Cyberpunk 2020/Shadowrun.

Quickie defination:

CTL10: The Space Age
Orbital colonies, fusion power, and cybernetics become a common occurrence. Early biotech is developed. For most campaigns CTL10 is the minimum that these cybernetic rules should be introduced. Slow STL is now used.

I would like to set my doc in a full pdf format with art in it, so any volunteers or suggestions on how to get that done would be great. I don't know if EN Publishing would be interested in it since they got Cyberstyle but I could be wrong.

I pulled a copy. Haven't had time to properly digest it yet (urp!), but the glance through the ToC made me think it would be worth the readthough :).

Having read through it, my only concern is that the XP costs look low, especially for some of the very enhancing items. I haven't read through the whole thing yet, but that's my initial impression.

Wow, I'm impressed. This would be perfect for a Ghost in the Shell campaign. I gave up cybernetic implants long ago, but this system is truly well designed. I like it.

I like the Ripper class, also. *smirk*

Overall rating: Nine out of ten. Congrats!

See you, space cowboy ;)

Well I put in experience cost to reflect the time and energy needed to learn how to use the cybernetic device (mostly) and not for game balance. If you take all the limiting factors such as monetary costs, tech availability, cyber form score, and so on as a whole it balances out. At least I think it does. :D
