Grim Tales and Green Ronin's psychics handbook

Has anyone tried to combine the two? Given that GR's psychics handbook is purely skill and feat based, and is designed for a more subtle style of gaming, they seem perfectly matched.

It's on my "To Do" list, but frankly I am so busy I would love to see a fan take a shot at it...

I think a feat & skill system would be ideal for Grim Tales!!! I do not have the Pyschic Handbook yet but on the D20 Weekly Web site they had an example of a skill & feat system (I was planning on using it for an Iron Lords of Jupiter campaign with Grim Tales of course)! I just want to thank Wulf for the great book as well!!! Thanks Maester Luwin

Aw, man! I just took the Psychic's Handbook off my wish list. I guess it'll have to go back on, now. I wouldn't mind taking a crack at it or playing with another poster's work once I get a copy (and finish my latest project, too)...

I used it a little.

I simply dumped the psychic class. So characters were forced to spend their normal feats and skill points (cross-class only). This has the effect of keeping power in the same range as spell-casting and worked great for me.
I was also picky regarding which feats and skills were allowed, but that seems fairly obvious as a campaign specific thing.

I have the two books. Since the Psychic is less powerful than a 3.5 psion (in terms of firepower and supernatural abilities), I think it can be fairly easily included into Grim Tales. Since use of psychic skills consume hit-points (non-lethal damage), it's similar to spell burn (of GT) and fit well IMO. The only thing I would NOT do, is to houserule that a base class could use its bonus feats and talents to get psychic feats, and that character could take psychic skills as core skills. Either keep it as normal level bonus feats only can be used to get psychic feats, and psychic skills are core class; and use the advanced psychic class, or the prestige classes.

BryonD & Turanil I really like the idea of keeping the pyschic feats normal feats (instead of bonus feats/ talents) & skills being cross class skils (instead of core skills). Thanks Measter Luwin

The Psychic's Handbook is coming in the mail - I'm going to have to try a Grim Tales/Psychic game using ByronD's suggestions.
