Grim Tales limited print run?

Looking over the old Bad Axe page, it looks like Grim Tales is going to be a limited print run. Is that correct? Will they be numbered or anything?

The "old page?" What, old?

Our intent was simply to change the format and appearance of subsequent printings to avoid any question as to whether it was from the original print run. Among these possibilities is going to softcover, changing the cover art, changing some of the "extra goodies" between the covers, some combination of all of those, or something I haven't thought of yet.

However, I have of course been looking into the possibility of numbering, stamping, or otherwise "authenticating" the limited edition printing, and will definitely let folks know before the book is available if such is the case.

And if so how do I guarantee that I will get one?

Well, gee, I thought all ENworld staff reviewers were on Osseum's reviewer comp list.

Wait-- does that mean you'll have to wait for a PDF, Crothian? ;)

Heh... I should have a "Super Duper" limited edition:

See, I take as many copies as I can carry to GenCon and have all of the ENworld folks who playtested and helped with design, sign each one inside...

...and then sell those copies *back* to the people that just signed 'em!

(C'mon, you know they'd buy 'em!)

In the spirit of the book, you should require consumers to undertake continent-spanning quests (fighting ruthless bad guys, reading brain-liquifying books of Things Not Meant to be Known, solving ancient riddles) to qualify for the super-duper limited print run! :)
