Griping about Foundry VTT

Well, Retreater, after reviewing the information presented, the only logical conclusion is that you and your group have been judged and found to be unworthy. Some sort of appeasement and purification would be in order, based upon the nature of your offenses.
The campaign has certainly been corrupted.

That is very specific.

Roll 20 works very well if you want just a virtual map--though that can be a pain to set up, as you confirm.

Originally it had very few built in features beyond that. When added D&D sheets did not work great, until they fixed them, but of course thats their biggest game.

At the tabletop, how would you handle these modified checks?

This group of players have specifically said they will not play this system at a physical game, because the automation is crucial to them.
What gets me is the "wrong" automation, where it gives an incorrect result for the check. If it were just "roll your die, tell me what you got" that would be better. But it automatically checks and says "success" or "failure" when that could be wrong, because I can't set the difficulty.
