Gripping your Monkey!

Its headaches like this why I play Savage Worlds.

IF, lets say, you can grab a large Morning Star, wield two handed, suffer the -2 penalty, and use it, do you get whoas.
Lets imagine for a second I cant search the forum (ok I cant) and the character in question has Monkey Grip, they could wield that same Morning Star in one hand, at the same penalty... but lets say they're crazy and the bigger the morning star the better the morning.
SO, asks this long time gone player, can a character with Monkey Grip (CW) pick up that HUGE Morning Star, suffer both penalties, and run around chasing Skeletons with a two handed ball and stick? Me, I say no, but at the same time it makes me chuckle at the idea of a little girl running around with a huge morning star screaming religious scripture chasing scared skeletons.

(Yes I know its one size larger, but humour me)

Right.

Right.

The Large morning star is a weapon designed for a creature one size larger than the character. Monkey Grip works great.

The Huge morning star is a weapon designed for a creature two sizes larger than the character. It is not a weapon that Monkey Grip has any effect on whatsoever, so it's too large for the character to wield.

Yes indeed it has been covered thoroughly. But still, I think theres an Epic feat for wield oversized weapon... pity Im 17 levels from epic on that build....
Having read "Wield oversized weapon" Im not sure it will let you do what I propose, but its epic so you should be able to just write afeat for it anyway. Thanks to the OGL anything is rules canon till the boys in wotc tell you off.
