Group game suggestions - tweens

Hey everyone,

I am constantly looking for games to play with our church youth group. Right now I have 8-10 youth 11-13 years old. It's hard having a game night when most games only support 2-6 players. We usually end up playing "teams". One typical example of a game they enjoy is Quelf.

Typically, we only have about an hour for games (unless doing specifically a game night/lockin).

Any ideas? Board games, card games, party games... anything 6-10 players can do in a living room type environment.

Jungle Speed will be a huge hit with your group. It's a game that requires quick pattern matching and quicker hands, and is usually a hoot. Especially when two people grab the totem at the same time and have to wrestle for it.

Werewolf is a good one for that group size. Better with more people, of course, but 10 people is definitely on the fun side of the border. I wouldn't do it with fewer than 8, though.

It occurs to me that if you bought two copies of Ca$h & Gun$, it would probably work for a large group. The game is only designed for 6, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work with the extra people as long as you had the components for them.
