Groupfinder is a global platform designed to make it easier for tabletop RPG players and groups to find each other. Built with a focus on accessibility and simplicity.

For the past few years, we have been building Groupfinder. A global TTRPG looking-for-group/players platform to serve players as a hub to connect those who are looking for a new group to join. And groups that are still missing a few players (or an entire party).
What started off as a small project only for the Estonian D&D community, has over time grown into something we feel could be helpful for anyone, anywhere and for any tabletop system.
And to top it all off - Groupfinder is and will be free to use.

The why
For tabletop roleplaying players, the hardest part is rarely learning the rules. It is finding the right people to play with. And if your group is missing a DM, the challenge doubles.Whether you are brand new or a seasoned players, finding a stable group is often more difficult than playing the game itself.

Groups dissolve, people move, schedules shift. Recruitment is spread across Discord servers, Reddit boards, Facebook groups and other communities. It might work out, but is chaotic, inconsistent and time-consuming. Groupfinder aims to solve all of these issues, once and for all. Connecting players with each other makes the LFG/LFM process a lot easier and more convenient and provides a platform for both sides of the table.

We are a team of three tabletop enthusiasts building this out of passion and love for the hobby space. There is no investor funding directing our goals. All the right (and wrong) decisions we have made so far, have been our own (and from feedback we've received).

How does Groupfinder work?
Our aim and goal is to keep the platform as easy to use as possible. Constantly fighting against feature creep is a weekly challenge. While we have ideas and plans for features to implement, we have to be sure that by adding additional functionality, we don't lose our current simplicity.

With advanced filtering you can find the perfect game, whether online or in person.
The platform is for you, if you are a:

Player looking for a group - Create your player profile, introduce yourself,mark down your preferences and set which systems you are looking to play
Group still missing players - Post your group, describe what the game is about, what the players can expect, set appropriate tags and wait for the messages to pile in.

Communication between players and groups can be done conveniently on platform via the messenger, that allows you to even convert it to a group chat to bring everyone together and even use Timefinder- and on-platform time-scheduling tool.
