Grumpy RPG Reviews: Dungeons and Dragons Cartoon, Part 1

Clicked, it says it's a video review, but in IE I got no video...maybe it's the browser I'm using?

Personal opinion, with your feet propped up on the desk there, it makes you looks short in your blog photo...like Grumpy of the 7 dwarves in a cowboy hat smoking a cigar. Not certain if that's the intent...your probably taller then the picture seems to indicate.

Tried it from the main page of your blog, still no video that I seem to be able to show.

Must be my browser or something.

I am not certain what to say. The video - part slide show, part clips from the series - is loaded through BlipTv and works fine on Firefox, even when I am not logged into my blogger account.

There's yer problem. If you are going to do anything on the web and utter "works fine on..." you have not only sourced the problem, you have failed to do proper cross-browser testing.

It is not the user's job to switch to the browser you use, it is your job to support the browsers your users are likely to use.

To rephrase then, it works for me in both Internet Explorer and Firefox, when logged into or out of my accounts for blogger and BlipTV.

And it works on multiple computers; my personal computer, the library computer and my worksite computer.

Thats better. Not to bust your balls, but when a user says they're having a problem using browser X, don't respond that it works fine in browser Y. Re-verify on browser X and confirm that it is working for you on browser X. Otherwise, it always reads as browser smack talk.

I don't know, FF is coming close to IE in insecurities...unless your talking about S or O in which case not as many people try to hack those yet. Actually, I use IE64 (aS OPPOSED TO normal IE) because that seems to be more secure than FF and I didn't have to do anything extra to use it on the new browsing computer we have.

In the above case I tried it in both IE64 and IE32 though. I do have a 64 bit processor, but many people do now days...it does throw a wrench in some things.

Is it an FLV file, and if so what was the original file from?

That might even be the issue with replay, last time I checked Flash did not support x64 IE. That was a year or so ago (when my wife tried it and i had her on x64).
