GTM Giveaway #89: Fin Fang Foom HeroClix Statue
First appearing in Marvel Comics’ Strange Tales V1, #89 (October 1961) and widely acknowledged among Jack “King” Kirby’s greatest monster creations, Fin Fang Foom (whose name in his native tongue means, quite literally, “He Whose Limbs Shatter Mountains and Whose Back Scrapes the Sun”) was once believed to be an ancient Chinese dragon when first awakened from his centuries-long slumber, but was ultimately revealed as a Makluan — a race of monstrous, dragon-like alien conquerors! In the modern age, the colossal Foom has faced heroes ranging from the Fantastic Four to Iron Man, ravaging the earth in their epic confrontations, and was so powerful that the fabled Midgard Serpent chose to imitate Foom when entering into battle against the Mighty Thor!
Now, no place on the HeroClix battlefield will be safe when Foom strikes! Sculpted by Brian Dugas and painted by Chris Hart, Fin Fang Foom is a formidable figure with three dials (nearly 50 slots!) full of powers and combat values that will make him a challenge to even the strongest forces of HeroClix characters. Plus, equipped with his unique Rampage Dial, which grants him the ability to reshape the battlefield, when Foom attacks or is attacked, new terrain erupts from the ground, existing terrain is shattered, and mighty quakes send terrain rumbling across the battlefield — sweeping heroes along with it!
