Advance Guardian Heroes Marches into Stores (GBA)
The sequel to Sega Saturn's Guardian Heroes is now available on GBA.
By Rainier Van Autrijve | Sept. 15, 2004

Ubisoft announced today that it has shipped Advance Guardian Heroes to retail stores.

Advance Guardian Heroes continues the epic storyline of the mighty Magic Kingdom and features over 20 controllable characters, more than 160 powerful moves to master, and many incredible multiplayer scenarios. Play as one of three brand-new characters Enn, Ray or Hyu and defeat the evil Kanon as you fight to uncover the Soul Sword and save Earth.
"Advance Guardian Heroes is not your typical scrolling fighter videogame, as it features an action-packed story of courage and sacrifice," said Ubisoft's Director of Marketing, Helene Juguet. "Ubisoft is excited to be reviving this legendary franchise. Having maintained the same challenging fast-paced, beat 'em up action and battles the cult-classic is known for, I know fans of Advance Guardian Heroes will be extremely pleased with the way we have revived the Treasure franchise."
Advance Guardian Heroes has a rating of "E" for Everyone and retails for $29.99.

S--ssorry...it is just so painful to hear these GREAT games are making a comeback, and secondly I can't commit to a new game platform, with PC, console, comic books and RPG stuff vying for my pocket, you do understand my strife...*sniff, sniff*:(

Well, I'm anti-console. I stopped collecting comic books to feed by RPG fix, so I'm left with my PC for home use and GBA for mobile use. If it wasn't for GB's large catalog of games, I'd probably opt for a Tapwave Entertainment PDA.

I was looking forward to this, unfortunately, just a couple days ago, my dogs ate my GBA SP.
Don't worry, once it passed through his system, you can pick it up like scooping doody. :D

Then again, an object that size would give him serious blockage. Take him to the vet.

Unfortuantely I never played the original GH, or Radiant Silvergun for that matter. I never got Gunstar Heroes either (though I at least played it a bit).

On a related Treasure note Astro Boy Omega Strain is a really good game. Gradius V seems to be faring well, too. AGH, not as well.

You can either get GBA for $50(?), the GBA SP for $80, or wait for the new GBA DS (Dual Screen) coming soon. (Christmas 2004?)

There's also the Gameboy Player for any Gamecube owners.

Of course I'm willing to sell my Flame GBA SP to anyone interested, must...get...Triforce...GBA
