So let's sum up. 20 page excerpt teasrer from a George RR Martin book in Dragon 305 and the upcoming (dunno how many pages) article in Dragon 307... and Guardians of Order has the license? If you could hear and see over the internet that was a long sigh and an eyeroll. Kudos to Guardians of Order though on picking up a great license! I hope they are rolling in money by the time it is done.
I guess the real question is which version will you be buying? I prefer the Tri-Stat version for Silver Age Sentinels, but for something fantasy based, I'm thinking that d20 will handle it better.
Based on the reaction (and the to the d20 version of Silver Age Sentinels, I'm not very enthusiastic about GoO putting out the d20 SoIaF - which is too bad, because most of their anime stuff has been great.
I hope that they take some of the criticism to heart when making the d20 version this time around.
I'm definately going to look into this one this fall. I'm glad that someone is doing this. I can't wait for Dragon 307 to hit my mailbox. It'll be interesting to see how they will compare.
I'm going to hold my breath on this one. I absolutely love the George R.R. Martin series thus far (the closest I've ever come to fanboyism). I just hope they don't screw it up. I'm not saying that they will, but the stakes are high.
