guided/advanced and quick reply

Hi!

O.K., two questions bug me:
1. What is the difference between "Guided Mode" and "Advanced Mode" in my reply box. I can't note any difference. Has it something to do with the elusive YMMSWISANSHZDATGD posting mode, which I neither know nor seem to have (at least judging from my expecations; said mode should look somehow peculiar in my reply box, but I don't note anything).

2. How is it possible that, from work, Quick Reply works like a charm, and from my home mac, it doesn't?

Any kind soul can answer me, I'll buy you a new plank for your ship next year )

WYSWIG or whatever it's called is a type of post where you can actually see the bold and italics and such, rather than just the code around it, that's all.

Can't help you with your problems though...

A question on a related note...before the boards were messed with after being updated, I could use the quick post to just post in that little box at the bottom. Now, whenever I click the quick reply, I get forwarded to a normal screen. Is there anyway to stop that?

The quick reply button works for me. Check to see if your quick reply mode is set to, maybe that matters, I don't know though...

Where is there a place to check what its set to? It seems that what happens, is when I click "Quick Reply" the "Go Advanced" button below the quick reply box highlights like I clicked that...

This is the exact problem I have, too.
Only that Quick Reply works from work (like now) but doesn't when I'm at home.

Quick reply works for me. In fact, it's the only reply method that actually has the buttons working (although I get code tags, not WYSIWYG).
