Just got this game for the PC. I've been meaning to get it for a while but had never gotten around to it until now, which is probably a good thing considering that I got it at a discounted price (not surprising, considering that the game is almost three years old).

It definitely has a story to it, so I purposely haven't read much of the website so as not to ruin the surprises and such.

Has anyone else here already played it? If so, what did you think of it?

I played it and thought it was a really good game. It definitely flew under the radar when released. It had a bit of open world quality about it that surprised me and the story was surprisingly deep.

Much, much better than "Red Dead Revolver" which came out around the same time and was complete poop.

I played the Xbox version, for what it's worth.

It was a fun rent.

Spurring the horse to death was one of the funniest moments in video gaming. I nearly killed a friend of mine because he could not stop laughing as i ground down the horses health bar for unneeded speed. The delightful chuch-chuch-chuch-chuch of the spurs really helped in that endeavor.

It does have a decent story, and mowing down baddies with a revolver is always a crowd-pleaser. Haven't finished it though--once I got my 360 and found out that it wasn't backwards compatible for Gun I kind of lost interest. Same with Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. Oh well.
