Gygax on NPR

First Post
Sunday morning, NPR did a report on Arkham House: Home to Horror and Sci-Fi Writers. In this report they mention and talk to Gary Gygax about how those authors helped in the inspiration for Dungeons & Dragons. This was the first time I had heard E.G.G.'s voice.

The bit concerning D&D is brief, but interesting. The whole report is interesting in an of itself, though.

Or the somewhat less flattering Sixty Minutes episode, way back when.

Or the DVD extras on the Dungeons and Dragons Movie...

...hello?...

...is this thing on?...

...hello?...

Rel, you're so funny. We all know no one would have spent their hard earned money on that movie or even accepted it as a gift. Right?

Well, what if I told you that our gaming group rented it to watch during a down night between campaigns? Since we split the cost, it was about a buck each and we got to laugh and ridicule the whole thing.

Plus we found out what Gygax's voice sounded like! That by itself is worth a buck, right?
