The main thing was a donation drive which bought a cool new server for the site (and, I think paid for the first year of hosting too, IIRC), which absolutely screams now, even during peak use periods. There have been a couple of minor glitches (a slow-down now and again, search sometimes doesn't work, and some even more minor stuff that gets corrected as quickly as the free help can get to it) associated with the change over, but overall things are really great here.
