The Goodman Games forums were hacked over the past week (similar to what happened to Green Ronin, evidently). We are in the process of restoring them now. Since the hacking may have affected other areas of the site, please let us know at goodmangames@mindspring.com if you have had any trouble placing orders, accessing information, or otherwise navigating the site.

Nah, i highly doubt it is. There are some recent php exploits that became publicly known, probably some script kiddies that have written a script that searches for sites with the vunerabilities for the exploits. GR and GM's sites just came up and where targeted because they where vunerable, not because they are evil game producers, well they are, but ;-)

Joseph, sorry to hear about that! I guess there are still people in the world with nothing better to do with thier time. Why not hack a site and increase its efficiency? Make it run fater or better? I don't understand the concept behind destructive programming.

Yeah, you're right. I certainly wouldn't have objected if he'd made the whole site run better. It turns out (based on the XMB bulletin boards) that a LOT of people running XMB BB v. 1.6 were hacked. Apparently it's not aimed at gaming companies... we just happened to be among those running that version of the BB system.
