Hello Folks,
I am looking to run a Hackmaster game, minus some crap (armor damage, fatigue) with some 2nd Ed bolt-ons (TBD). I'd like to run in the evenings on Tuesday nights, US Eastern Time- perhaps 7ish til done (aka 11:30 or so).
For those of you more familiar with 2nd Edition, Hackmaster is really just that game, dialed up to 11 with the addition of some races and classes, and 20 extra HP at first level, along with a percentile based skill system, some quirks and flaws that were more or less cribbed from the Player's Option series, and exploding damage for weapons and healing spells.
I could certainly assist with character creation for anyone interested.
World setting would likely be a somewhat modified Cerilia, the continent that Birthright is set in. I might even include Regent characters if the PCs get to name level (8-10 or so).
Please let me know by e-mail if you are interested- daysofourknives at gmail dot com.
As for AIM chat- I'm not married to it, but it does have a dice roller feature and many people have AIM, which can't be said for IRC anymore. I don't want to run a board game- a real time chat game has a marginally higher chance of not utterly falling apart, which has been my experience with every pbp game I have ever ran or been in.
Thanks!
Bob
