WoTC conceals technical problems with the Hadron Goblin Supercollider

19 September, 2007 @ 1600est (Associated Fantasy Press) - WoTC concealed a failure with the HadronSuperGoblinCollider for over a week. Apparently an Elemental based cooling component for one of the attacker/trap subsystems failed (accidentally switched to an elemental fire plane during a recent cosmology realignment). The fact that WoTC concealed the malfunction has people throughout the gaming world up in arms. Questions as to whether this has any relation to setbacks with their new Digital Initiative were met with perceived stoicism and obfuscation. An RPG watchdog investigation by the ENWorld oversight community has been launched. There has been a firestorm of criticism on the internet from around the world, with technical malfunctions of the collider adding fuel to the fears and controversy. Many "pseudo-experts" in the field of RPG's fear that the collider may destroy the planet (game) as we know it.

Maybe as the experiment of some evil wizard. He has a tower with passages that lead to the underground experiment area (dungeon). It's miles long and circular, full of traps and strange magical energies, with the end result of the experiment the creation of a Super Goblin. One that's vitually invulnerable and immune to all energies (magic). The PC's must stop this before the creation of an unstoppable goblin is completed.

When you're breaking a system, it helps if you just ignore rules that prevent you from doing things you want to. Check out a character optimization board for examples.
Wouldn't that be funnier if that were true?

The ChaOp boards actually know the rules really well: Otherwise they couldn't have created Pun-Pun. It just takes knowing alot of rules and how they combine.

Really, what fool created Serpent Kingdoms knowing full well that Shapechange existed?
