Most seem to agree that half elves are the race most in need of tweaking, now lets see what the most popular tweak is

Half-elves don't need a tweak, at least in my opinion.

BTW, where did the idea for +2 charisma come from? You'd think that a half-elf's traits would be inherited from it's parents, but neither elves nor humans have a bonus to charisma.

Someone posted saying they get that in his campaign
You really dont think half elves dont get much compared to other races? I mean come on they get +2 saves against enchantment and low light vision.
And nothing from there human side.

I don't understand the +2 CHA bonus myself since there's no precedent for it from either parents. But it does need a tweaking; if the poll allowed for selecting multiple answers I'd give me best three, but for one I don't think that extra skill points are that bad.

Half-elves get Favored Class: Any from their human parents. Which makes them just as good for multiclassing as humans.

Ok let me rephrase...the get essentialy nothing from there human side. that essentialy only comes into play if you want to take 3 non prestige classes and not keep them within a couple levels of each other.

I posted it. In my campaign, we do this. Rather than a conflicted personality, IMC they gain the best of both race's personailty.

Its actualy a very interesting idea. Not likely to get into the official rules, but interesting. Half Elves are described as frequently becoming wanderers and interacting with all races...this might tend to up there social skills(and social stat) a bit.
