Half-Human Races (no stats required, just need ideas and flavor)

Wow Sonikal, don't tell me you're just going to go through the entire MM. That's madness! Madness!

But it's the kind of madness I respect. How about...

Dretchen (half dretch)
Dretchens are hideous, mis-shapen creatures that are barely sentient, much like their dretch forefathers. The only dissimilarity is that dretchen at least have some resemblance to the standard humanoid form, and possess an animal cunning unknown to the mindless dretch.

Quasid (half-quasit)
Quasids appear to be rather demonic halflings with long clawed fingers and stunted, but functioning, wings. They are, however, of human ancestry. Quasids love to play vicious pranks on unsuspecting victims and rob them and escape in the confusion. Quasids fear direct confrontation, and are skilled at escape.

Cambion (half-succubus)
When "half-demon" is mentioned, most people think of a cambion. Cambions are mostly human in appearance, but have dark red or violet skin, small horns on the forehead and bat-like wings. Cambions are often tragic figures, torn between a demonic heratige and their innate humanity.

Bebaman (half bebilith)
Bebamen are grotesque creatures with several stunted, functionless arms jutting from their armored carapaces. Their mandibles clack with glee when hunting demon prey, but the victims they prize most are humans, who they use in dark rituals to create more of their kind.

Vrukh (half-vrock)
Vrukhes devote themseles to glorious battle, often serving as mercenaries for evil rulers. They have feathery wings, scaly clawed limbs and a distended mouth eerily resembling a bird's beak. They are known to scholars for their elaborate and unusual games, including a varient of nine-pins using the bones of their victims (take another look at the MM picture).

Hezarn (half-hezrou)
Hezarns are squat, slimy humanoids with a faint and disturbing resemblance to toads. They live in swamps, and often waylay travelers when not engaged in some plot to bring their fathers into the Prime. Most of them are not terribly intelligent, but cunning and canny.

Grezu (half-glabrezu)
Grezus often have canine muzzles with sharp fangs and four arms, one pair much larger than the other. Grezus are seen as an omen of coming change in some evil societies, and it is rumored that a drow variant exists as well. Most grezus lust for power, and they are usually skilled at becoming the secret ruler behind the throne.

Amonman (half-nalfeshnee)
Amonmen are bizarre humanoids with overlong arms and massive tusks. They have an uncanny knack for judging people, and often find employment in freakshows as fortune-tellers. Of course, their demonic heritage gives it a deep loathing for people, especially those it judges "sinners" by its bizarre criteria, and often stalks and kills the people who come for their fortunes.

Mara (half-marilith)
All maras are female, and all maras are geniuses. They appear at first glance to be beautiful women, but closer examination reveals a short, serpentine tail and more vestigial arms. Maras delight in creating elaborate schemes, often aimed to destroy those who have slighted them, beginning (usually) with their human father.

Balonar (half-balor)
Balonar are both highly intelligent and homicidally insane, a very deadly combination. Their massive wings stream fire behind them in flight, and a balonar's head is marked by fangs, horns and madly glinting eyes. Most balonar act alone and kill impetuously, but the most dangerous are those that create criminal empires, often employing lesser half-demons as lieutenants.

Better late then never, eh?;)

More half-demon flavor-text, from non-MM sources.

From the BOVD

Maneskin (half-mane)
These lowly and pathetic creatures are even lower than dretchen on the abyssal totem-pole. They resemble the bloated corpse of their human parent, and tiny worms wriggle throughout their porous skin. It is believed that they are formed through the spirits of abyssal petitioners infusing themselves into unborn fetuses.

Ruttermen (half-rutterkin)
Ruttermen are one of the more "normal" looking half-demons, resembling a man or woman wracked by a hideous disease. They often use this appearance to their advantage, posing as beggars in the back allies of large cities only to pounce upon and devour their unwitting benefactors. They will occasionally form beggar's unions and guilds, marked by savage behavior and violence in the cities homeless population.

Guradon(half barlgura)
Guradons are rare among the demon-men, common only among decadent savages living in the most remote jungles. A guradon is marked by a heavy brow, lengthy limbs, tusks, and coarse orange hair in patches on the body. They are venerated by their peers, and are usually the shaman of their tribe (taking sorcerer, then Thrall of Demogorgon levels).

Babauga (half-babau)
Babaugas are cadaverously thin demon-men, with bony joints and a skull that tapers back to a point. They live on the outskirts of society, preying on the weak, the old, and the sick. Babauga have a special fondness for the flesh of human children. Occasionally, a babauga will become an assassin, often taking jobs which require that a young victim be slain.

Shade of the Abyss (half-shadow demon)
A Shade of the Abyss is the ultimate killer, attacking the soul instead of the body. They resemble their human parent closely, except for their jet-black skin, onyx horns and wings that fade into the ether at their tips. Most Shades of the Abyss are necromancers, and they revel in the use of the magic jar spell. Shades of the Abyss are usually the result of a shadow demon's possession of a pregnant woman.

Strejemen (half-chasme)
A strejeman is like a god to ruttermen, dretchen and maneskin, forming tiny dictatorships full of hideous, degenerate demon-men. They are mostly humanoid, with an additional pair of tiny, useless arms, a hooked beak of a nose, compound eyes and the membranous wings of a giant fly. They often use ruttermen as spies into mercenary camps, looking for vrukhs to discredit and kill.

From the Monster Manual II

Mawn (half-abyssal maw)
These wretched and cruel demon-men are squat purplish-brown humanoids with only a mouth and three cold orange eyes where a face should be. They delight in eating still warm corpses, and often lurk on the edges of battle, fighting with clerics and medics for the fallen.

Skulkling (half-abyssal skulker)
Not to be confused with the humanoid race known as skulks, skulklings are lanky green creatures, whose humanoid shape is disguised by its habitual crawling on all fours. Their teeth are pincer-like and a greasy mane runs down their necks. They often form mercenary companies with vrukhs, serving as scouts and spies over enemy lines.

Ravagion (half-abyssal ravager)
Ravagions resemble scaly gnolls more than humans, despite their ancestry. They usually are pitied more than feared in human settlements as children, and this is a mistake. More than one village has been destroyed because a woman carried, whether forced to or out of pity, a ravagion to term and raise it, only to underestimate its destructive capacity. Ravagions exist only to kill, and those that don't die young escape to the wilds to live among gnolls or other humanoids.

Gnovoc (half-jovoc)
Gnovocs resemble thin human midgets with red talons and an ashy complexion. They are quick tempered and physically thin-skinned, and never forget a slight. They consider themselves to be avatars of retribution, and have ridiculously high opinions of themselves. Occasionally, one or more of them will be found in the company of an amonman, serving as his tools of punishment for "sinners".

Palthemen (half-palrethee)
Palthemen are consumed by their jealousy for both the "perfect" demons and humans, who at least are not mocked and treated with disgust. Even if a paltheman is treated well, these insane demon-men find some fault among their peers and either flee or go on murderous rampages. A paltheman has patches of red and blue skin all over his body in odd patterns, and has a pair of tattered, bony wings; a constant reminder of the paltheman's state of eternal failure.

Zovvular (half-zovvut)
Arrogant and conceited, zovvular consider themselves to be the descendents of Orcus himself, which they are, in a very distant way. Orcus created their zovvut parents using his own blood, and sends them as boons to his more promising female worshippers to create a race of super demon-men, eventually opening the door for his triumphant absorbtion of the Prime into his Abyssal demense, winning him the battle for demonic supremacy. These alabaster-white, three-eyed demon-men serve the Cult of Orcus with glee, killing its foes, performing its hard labors and softening up the world for Orcus' taking.

Jara (half-jarilith)
Much as the maraliths created the first jaraliths to serve them as battle companions, jaras are the result of breeding experiments performed by maras. Jaras are bestial, leoine creatures, walking on all fours and attacking victims with tooth and claw. They are strong but dense, and serve more powerful demon-men (and even some demons) as hunting beasts and bodyguards.

Vezukel (half-kelvezu)
Vezukel resemble cambions, although they tend to be shorter and paler, and they never have wings. Velzukels are expert assassins, infiltrators and poisoners, and more than one war has been ended by a vezukel slipping in to poison a general's drink. A notable trait of the vezukel, and one that can be used to detect them when they are disguised, is their penchant for speaking backwards. They commonly invert words, syllables and entire sentences casually.

More will come at a later date. Comments and the like are greatly appreciated.

I'm not doing these soley for my own benefit, you know. ;)

From the Fiend Folio

Alkilan (half-alkilith)
These hideous amorphous creatures are in constant agony due to their flesh reshaping and twisting. They constantly ooze green slime from their pores and orfices and take their pain out on other sentient creatures. Some of them become oozemasters in order to gain control of their gruesome bodies.

Kluricing (half-klurichir)
Even full demons fear the wrath of the kluricing. These fearsome creatures have huge red wings, mighty talons and a second mouth in their abdomens. They are the only demon-men to gain the full respect of the demonic races, predominately because they are often in the service of their horrible fathers.

Rezimen (half-maurezhi)
Some of the world's most feared and dangerous serial killers are actually rezimen, the result of the mating of a shapeshifting maurezhi and a human. Rezimen resemble normal humans in most respects, albeit they tend to have feral features (large canine teeth, glinting eyes, curved nails) and murderous tendancies. They usually consume at least part of every creature they kill.

Xicimyran (half-myrmyxicus)
Xicimyrans are on par with balonars and kluricings for the most terrible of the demon-men. They are usually found by the sea, living as either mad hermits or insane dictators of small kingdoms of demon-men and slaves. A xicimyran has slimy skin, curling ram-like horns, four tentacles growing from its shoulders, and a long tail tipped with a lamprey-like mouth. They swim as easily as a normal man walks, and bleed thick, black ichor in place of blood.

Zarlvyn (half-skulvyn)
A zarlvyn is a brutal, animalian demon-man. They have webbed hands and feet, a long sail on their backs, a reptilian muzzle with barbels and four whip-like tails. They eat flesh exclusively, and often prey on barges and boats passing through their territory.

Wastril (half-wastrilith)
Wastrils are another aquatic demon-man race. They have pirahna-like faces, rubbery arms, and a lengthy tail segmented like an intestine in place of legs. They are more comfortable swimming than walking, and are ridiculously opulent, building massive undersea palaces with goods stolen from ships and traded in by middlemen such as pirates or debased merfolk.

From the Manual of the Planes

Urizu (half-uridezu)
Urizu resemble albino humans with a small, rat-like nose, whiskers and a long, naked tail. They are not as inherently evil as most demon-men, and some of them even live peacefully among humans, acting as exterminators, garbage collecters or even spies. more often then not, though, their ratty appearance leads them to turn to evil for revenge or just even survival.

Armadon (half-armanite)
These creatures are among the more bizarre demon-men, created in acts of unnatural lust. An armadon is humanoid, has pale skin, bull-like horns and four hooved legs, although it has the normal lower body shape of a humanoid. One of the extra legs grows from the front of the creature, the other from the back. Armadons are among the more mercenary demon-men, joining vrukh companies as cavalry.

Goriston (half-goristro)
Goristons rememble giant humans with massive fists and the heads of bison. They are incredibly stupid creatures, seeking only destruction. They are usually created by evil kings for the purposes of weapons of war, where they act as living seige engines. Despite the resemblance, they hate minotaurs with a passion, and will attack any minotaur if it gets a chance.

Most of these just scream to be PC's. The angst about heritage, the odd abilities, and the sheer weirdness seem to fit in with the adventurer's place. They wouldn't be too hard to stat out, either.

One you missed on your machanical and systematic "conversion" of the MM:

Harena(Half-Arenea): Bespoken by many as foul beast from the bowels of the earth, mistaken for some Drider. It has a humanoid stance and gait yet it's looks may tell a different story. It has larger then average eyes and and extraset of arms below the first. It has an exoskeletal chitinous body coloured in a deep green, it has retractable mandibles. It's sociable and pleasent nature would be wasted if it had only inherited the physical aspects of the arenea, they also have the ability to change into a human shape. They also take up a few mystic arts becoming sorcerers often.

Jesus christ demiurge1138m you've been busy!. These half-demons are cool, very cool!.Sorry if I haven't been on for a while, i've een busy. And by way thanks Ferret, for filling my stupid mistake (how could of I possibly missed the Aranea?)...

Mantaur (half-centaur)
Mantaur are ussually the offspring of drunken revelry among the forest folk. These beings unlike most half-humans rarely feel angst against their lives, and rarer still are they prejudiced for their difference. They are very friendly beings, but they can be moody and very private. Mantaur look like tall humans, and in many respects like a satyr. They have digigrade, short-furred legs that end with hoofs. They have dark expressive eyes and pointed ears like a half-elf. Their favored class is Ranger.

Chaos Man (half-chaos beast)
Chaos Men are inherently insane and unpredictable creatures. They have ever-shifting personalities and outlooks. Most of these personalities just fade and die, but theres always about 3 or 4 that are almost permanant, and more often these personalities have different alignment traits. Chaos Men have forms that shift as quickly as their emotions. One moment they may be a tall guant black skinned insect faced humanoid, then a slimy skinned one-eyed fanged brute with massive arms, or perhaps a scaly short dwarf-like being with a long stinger-tipped tounge. Infact the only thing that their forms conform to is their gender and humanoid shape. Their favored class constantly shifts because Chaos Men find it difficult to concentrate on one idealogy for to long.

Chimani (half-chimera)
Chimani are often untrustworthy and vain. They see no point in honor or chivalry when one could just ambush an opponent, or defeat them through deceit and lies. Chimani are 7 to 8 ft. tall. They are covered in a short, tawny fur and their toe and finger nails end with black sharp claws. A small pair of dark wings sprout from their back, and they have stocky, crocodilian tails. Their heads are the strangest feature, it is like 3 faces in one. In the middle is a one eyed furred feral face, on the right an extra draconic eye scaly skin and a dragon-like horn, and on the left the last eye tough-wiry fur and a goats like skull. Their favored class is Sorceror.
