Very cool drawing. How about the interaction of medusa and minotaur results not in a composite creature (a hodge podge of medusa and minotaur) but in an analogous creature? I.e. bull is to minotaur as gorgon is to _________. The half-minotaur/half medusa would have scaly skin like a gorgon, but no snakes. Ideally she would have a breath weapon instead of a gaze effect.

THat does sound like a pretty cool idea for a new monster, and I may try to work one up, but I htink I'll stick with the current concept for the moment for simple ease of use. I also relented and just took the full half minotaur template in the end since the whole point of tailoring it was to help her blend in and disguise herself as a human... and with the way she's looking that's just not possible. Plus it fits her backstory nicely - I can easily imagine a Medium sized Medusa mother dying giving birth to a Large sized Half Minotaur child.
