Half Water Elemental LA?

Is there a LA for the half-elemental templates from Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil and Manual of the Planes? In particular for the water elemental one.

It hasn't been 3.5'd anywhere that I've seen but (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but I believe the LA is at +3 is not? One less than the Celestial/Fiend and the same as a half-dragon.

I looked but haven't found anything actually stating the LA for half-elementals.

It's a template in the manual of the planes. +2 ECL. Not to bad of a price for the stat boosts that you get, plus some spell like abilities based on H.D.

Manual of the planes lists CR adjustment not LA. Please note that a 3.5 6HD Half-Celestial has a CR adustment of +2 but a LA of +4. CR and LA are not equivalent though in some cases they are the same number I doubt this is the case for the half-elemental template.

As I said, LA for the half-elemental power-wise is likely most equivalent to the half-dragon template for an LA of +3.

You are right. The D&D v.3.5 Accessory Update Booklet puts Half-Elementals at LA +3.
