Hammer & Helm

Picked it up yesterday and it's very good! I do have one question, the Ironbound prestige class lists a requirement of Craft(weaponsmithing) shouldn't it be armorsmithing?

With this book, Heroes of High Favor, & The Quint. Dwarf I'm in bearded heaven. You can never, and I repeat never, have too many books on dwarves!

Yep, I've been waiting on that one for a long time. It has just kept getting pushed back and back and back. You gotta love warhammer dwarves. Especially Gotrek. Now that's a dwarf's dwarf.

I've given Hammer & Helm a brief look, and I think it stands up as one of Green Ronin's stronger releases, which is no mean feat. Chris continues to publish some of the best products in the industry, and it's nice to see Jesse Decker flex his creative muscles outside Dragon Magazine.

Reading Hammer & Helm, I was struck by how "comfortable" Jesse seems to be with the rules, which is certainly not common in the industry at large (though it's thankfully becoming moreso as time goes on).

Good job to everyone involved.

I hate dwarves and this book still impressed me (nice cover too). Won't be buying it, but if I was into dwarves, it would be a must-own.

Great job, Chris--you almost made a dwarf-lover out of me!

Wait--that didn't come out right! *shudder* :D

There were several things I enjoyed about the book even if you don't like dwarves. The spells, weapons, monsters, feats, and domains. Many can be used by races outside dwarves. Not all of 'em mind you, but some. In my Greyhawk campaign, I've already given Keelean, the Prince of Swords, the Sword Domain. Hopefully my review copy will show up in the next week or two and I'll be able to provide some more in depth analaysis and give my buddy his book back.
