Happieness is....

Restricting to gaming things:

Rolling a natural 20 when it matters

Getting xp for roleplaying well.

levelling

Figuring out the cool plot.

Sitting down with friends for the beginning of a game.

Warm bacon, MMM bacon. No better gaming snack.

In the spirit of the boards here, I'm surprised I'm the first one to say:

Natural 20!

On a more mushy, sentimental note:

Sunday, my wife and I took our daughter (23 Months) to the Zoo. She spent most of the day excitedly perched on my shoulders yelling things like "Elennint! Elennint! Eating grass!!" I mowed the lawn when we got home and then my in-laws came over. We grilled thick hamburgers and they gave me some VERY comfortable shoes and a new battery for my cordless drill as a late Father's Day gift. My wife and I collapsed in exhaustion that night and just before she fell asleep, she said, "I love our little family."

Better than a natural 20, that was.

What happiness is for me... it is what is on a painting hanging in my fiancee's and I's apartment:

"I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that."
I gotta get me one of those..once the latter part of the second sentence applies to me.:D But in my opinion, the deepest feelings of love cannot be expressed through words...although a lot of people try...which is where we get poetry.

...a warm blanket on a cold day.
...an air conditioner on a hot day.
...money, since it gives you time to do what you want and enjoy yourself.
...seeing the hypnotist at your high school grad party mess with everyone.:D
...seeing a cat chase a laser-pointer.
...something I rarely feel. Well, real happiness anyway.
...knowing that somewhere, at any given time, someone is falling in love.
...elusive.
...knowing that someday, somehow, you'll find a way to tell her how you feel about her.:)

Happiness is makeing fun of the spelling error in thread titles.
....or Reaching 21th Level
....or Knowing that your family & friends love you, no matter what

happiness is making it home safely..... (even if the windshield caught a rock not more than 40 miles from dallas after over a 2000 mile ride.... :))

...Finally getting the monkey off the fridge.

...Being told that the soft-spots on your skull have closed over and you can finally walk outside without a hockey helmet on.

...Cookies you find in your pocket.

...Silly songs with Larry.

Happiness is...

having a really tough time of things and being miserable & depressed...and it's been a really hot and yucky day... you turn off the lights to go to sleep and your wonderful, loving kittie jumps in bed with you to snuggle even though you both hate the heat.

Well, I guess ya have to be there. ;)
