Happy GM's day, everybody!

Ryan: Thanks for my first Forgotten Realms game, for running us through the Banewarrens, and for letting me be the official rules gopher for the group.

No Problem.

My DM Thanks?

Glenn (Olgar Shiverstone) - Thanks for running a GREAT and memorable game every other Sunday where we all take part and feel the world come to life. I hated the Forgotten Realms (and oft thought they should stay forgotten) until i played in your game. Thanks again.

As for any other thanks? I am the DM

Happy GM's Day

I would like to send a warm thanks out to Scott Harrington -- the individual that opened my eyes to a new world of imagination when he introduced me to Role Playing Games in 1977 -- he was my first GM.

To Steve Pastieva (where ever you happen to be these days, my old friend) for being the first Game Master to show me that this little game was about a lot more than numbers and levels and powers and abilities... it was about deeper meanings if you wanted it to be. You were an inspiration.

To Ray-Jack Sainz (hope all is well) for being the best damn Game Master anyone could hope for. Every game I run, I aspire to the levels you taught me. Thank you so much. I don't know if you realize how much joy your brought to all of the USS RANGER's Roleplaying community.

Finally, to all of the hard-working, behind-the-scenes, continuity checking, improvisational wizards that call themselves Game Masters, Dungeon Masters, Storytellers or what have you... your players appreciate the effort you are putting into this. Even if they don't always appear to understand how much effort it takes.

Is anybody besides Natural 20 Press offering special deals on books or PDFs for GM's Day?

Oops, forgot to put in my thanks. Thank you to Jeremy, who got me back into D&D 3 years ago(3.5, actually) when I was still in high school.

Thanks to my brother Barry for getting me in to D&D back in the 70s and being a great DM.

Thanks to my current DMs (and also players of mine) Paul T., Paul M., and Steve (Meat-Bop). I'm having a blast, and you are helping keep this poor DM sane. :)

Thanks to my current player Matt, who DM'd for me way back when, and my current player Pete, who DM'd a couple of short campaigns for our group as well.

Happy GM's day to:

Darlene, my first DM, my first crush, my first experience with the wonders of leather pants.

Never mind, you lot.

Glenn, who co-DM'ed a ten-year campaign with me through high school and university. A constant source of inspiration and challenge.

Whoever that guy was at the CalCon tournament who had to run out of the room to seek a ruling when I threw a Wall Of Iron in front of a charging Ki-rin.

To all the gang here at ENWorld -- the first time I've ever had a peer group of DMs. JD, Piratecat, EN, Angelsboi, Dr. Midnight, jonrog1, SHARK, Buttercup, the list goes on and on. The imagination and intelligence on this board is amazing (if not always in clear evidence ;)).

One of my players got me the Wheel Of Time book for GM's Day! Well, actually, a coil-bound printout of some pirated pdf of the Wheel of Time book. I'm a little iffy about that but, well, it's the thought that counts, I guess. He must have spent more on ink and paper and binding than the book itself woulda cost, I'm sure.

Happy GMs day guys and gals, and happy birthday to me! :) (30 years old today)

The ironic thing about this is I would have run a session od D&D tonight but one of the players phoned in with the flu, typical!

Huzzah!

Happy GM's Day everyone! (Looks like I began DMing just in time to celebrate!) ;)

Thank you to Xaltar, my hubby, who introduced me to the game over 7 years ago.

Thank you also to Doc, who DMs for us on Saturdays, and to several others who have DMed for us in the past, including Wee Jas, Jamison, and soon-to-be-another-DM-of-ours, Edge!

Have fun with your celebrations all! May your d20 always crit! :D
