Gary would have been 84 today.

Besides reading/posting on here, are you doing anything else to celebrate?

I believe my 5E group will be playing Rime of the Frostmaiden tonight, and if so I'll call for a toast.

I continue to work on putting out rpg stuff for others to enjoy. That's sort of the whole point

But I don't "celebrate" him. I appreciate his contributions and try to be a better steward of the game myself for things I create based on his work. I celebrate the hobby he created and the people who enjoy it.

Suddenly, the choice of that date for "DM's Day" seems off.
