Now it's Happy New Year Wishes ;)

Indeed, Christmas was forbidden to many Christians as it was a pagan holiday celebration. Now it's fully adopted as Christian, so why not take it as it is? If one isn't a Christian, it's still a great holiday for family, friends, and fun, as noted.

PA, if Alex gets to be the Lejend Master of a game, then be sure your Avatar is "disposable," for he does not cut much slack...

Historically, Christmas was placed at that time of the year to blend with then erase a pagan holy day. (Historically, if we believe the Bible, Jesus cannot have been born in the winter, not with the sheep being led to pasture.) All the same, many a pagan holy site was converted as a Christian one, with satues of goddesses conveniently becoming statues of the Virgin Mary. In a related way, the celtic goddess Brigit became Saint Brigit. Etc.
