No, the tradition in Denmark is to watch the clock on the Copenhagen Townhall, either in RL or on the TV toasting in the new year with champagne (check), smoking a (cuban) cigar (check), and generally getting hammered (unchecked).

And you actually jump into the new year either from a table or a curb or whatever.
