Empty Room Studios Publishing is proud to announce the launch of our upcoming HardBoiled product line. HardBoiled is a series of game supplements and visual aids dedicated to horror, pulp, noir and other genre games of the early 20th Century.
Investigating forgotten horrors of the Great Old Ones? Two-Fisted adventures through a nazi infested jungle? All out gun fight with gangsters in a quest to solve a murder case? If any of these sound like your weekly game sessions, then you need to check out the new HardBoiled series of products.
Upcoming releases:
Map Tiles- Frank Walls (Creative Director - ERS Publishing) will bring the same level of quality and innovaton to our HardBoiled map tiles as he has with the ERS Card Stock Scenes - Dungeon Tiles. Similar to our Dungeon Tiles series, these will have layers that will enable you to turn items on or off. This will allow gamers to customize the tiles to suit their needs better. Each set will come with a building, or buildings, a set of road tiles, and roofs for each building. The roofs enable GM's to cover the interior until a player enters.
So here's a quick sample image from the first set. This is an empty lot behind an antique store. The rest of the store will be on the adjacent tile. The other half of the set will contain 2 small houses, one of which will have a secret tunnel connecting its basement to the antique store.

Forms and Documents- The first release of our forms and documents series will be a sample pack containing various forms and game aids. Expect to see period business cards for local NPC's, Theater/lecture/museum tickets, travel documents and tickets for various vehicles, police reports, various ID's, etc. Future support will involve detailed props, maps, catalogs, and other items each focusing on a specific theme or location.

Additional material will be announced as we move along with production and we are always open to suggestion. Visit our forum (www.tangledmuse.com) to give us some ideas on what you want to see.
