Hardcore gamers

The same thing happens to my non-gaming friends though. That's marriage in a nutshell. A man gives up his old life, friends, and freedom in exchange a for a permanent supply of sex. Unfortunately many men find that the frequency and perhaps quality of the sex steadily decreases as the weight of the woman supplying it steadily increases.

And how many women do the same thing? It sucks, but it happens with both genders. It is not a sign of a healthy relationship.

I'm almost afraid to ask, but... anyone have a link to the other thread that was being discussed?

I'm researching obsessive behaviour, and that certainly sounds like it fits the bill of what I am looking for...

You mean the one about the guy who pooped his pants? Be careful...that's a scary thread....

Slightly off thread -- we have a table rule that "dating your prefered gender" (we have a gay player) is an automatic excuse for missing a session -- We do expect a call -- if only to share the good news

As far as "that hardcore" I curbkick someone nuts enough to put real life ahead of the game -- I wouldn't consider the gaming to feel better a problem though -- as said before thats life affirming. OTOH if someone misses a job, date they wanted, wedding, sex they wanted (one guy acepted he gets a lot anyway) event, imprtant family thing, etc -- well they need to fix priorities

The closest I have ever seen are once when I was a teen I did play D&D 24 hours straight and second I played with some guys who life was like this "Work in asylum as orderlies, get food/stuff as needed, play Robotech, rinse, repeat" that was hardcore

Hmm, is it hardcore to game with your shortly-to-be-ex-spouse AND your soon-to-be new spouse at the same time? Nahhh, surely not.

Although I must say, I was so clueless that it didn't occur to me until later that it was a trifle weird and that the soon-to-be was kinda uncomfortable...

Like I said, almost afraid to ask.

On the other hand, it might help me get an A on my next psych paper. I think I might be able to handle it. :heh:

I've tried to find that thread, but I'm also at work so my search time is limited. Can someone step up and help Goddess out?
